John Dumelo, the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, marked his first Easter as an MP with a touching act of generosity—supporting widows in his constituency using a portion of his very first parliamentary salary.
The gesture took place on Easter Monday in Tesano, one of the communities within his constituency. Dumelo, who also serves as Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture, personally led the donation drive, distributing food items to widows to help brighten their holiday.
Dumelo shared on social media that this act was deeply personal, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve and give back. “It’s only right to share the little I earn with those who need it most,” he noted.
